I was a little worried about the condition the table would be in after shipping (based on the other review) but decided to take a chance because the price is so low. When the table arrived I carefully inspected all of the parts before putting the it together. There is only one small scratch on the surface which was easily covered up with a black sharpie pen. The rest of the table was in flawless condition. It was very easy to set up and now looks great in my house.
One thing... the table legs do not have "feet" so the very bottom of the leg is a slightly rough wood surface. Because of this you may want to buy adhesive felt pads to avoid scratching your floor. I was able to find black felt pads at the hardware store. For carpeting you will probably want to get adhesive sliders - same as you would for any furniture that you want to avoid digging into your carpet/flooring.
