(More customer reviews)Assembly was simple but I also used wood glue to increase the strength because people sit on it when they come over. It is a little darker wood than the picture but that's what I was hoping for anyway. Good looking trunk. I'm using it as a coffee table and also to store blankets and pillows. The hinges are also good design, they are such that the lid goes down slowly the last 5 or so inches so no slammed fingers. Nice.
