(More customer reviews)This is a very attractive piece furniture and certainly looks like it came from a top of the line store such as Ethan Allen.. The color is a rich, dark brown, almost black and it's very sturdy for being a DIY piece.. I did have a bit of trouble putting it together, the screw holes were off just enough on the backside that I couldn't get them to go in all the way, forcing me to leave about a 1/4 gap where the back part meets the sides.. I'm sure if a guy had been putting it together he would have been able to get them in tight, but being a older gal without the upper body strength of a fella I just couldn't apply the pressure needed.. However, you can't really notice this since the gap is tiny and on the backside so I am still very pleased with how the unit came out and hope to get the matching coffee table soon.. I did find the price of these units a bit high, considering you do have to do some work to put them together and it can require some effort but that would be my only complaint.. Shipping was quick with no problems.. I give it a hearty 4 stars..
