(More customer reviews)This is a very attractive piece however much of it is made of particle board/MDF rather than hardwood solids as advertised. The bottom shelf is held in place by two small dowels and grooves in the table legs. It probably wouldn't support much weight. The pullout tray comes out from both sides so you can place it on either the left or right side of your couch. The construction is of fair quality and despite being covered with many extra layers of cardboard, it arrived with a damaged pull out tray and a few nicks in the wood. It took about an hour to put together.
