(More customer reviews)This is a really nice looking coffee table, especially for the price. Lower quality tables at Target cost more than this. It is durable, and takes all sorts of abuse well. My 3 year old has spilled many glasses of milk and water on this with no staining, colored on it with crayons and markers, and even got nail polish on it. It cleans up nice, and the bottom shelf is great for holding coloring books and extras, and for putting your feet on when you are sitting. The height is perfect, too. It's not too high to put your legs on, and it's not too low to make reaching for your drink uncomfortable. The drawer easily holds 3 or 4 remotes, slides, and closes nice. This table is well made.
We've had this for a year, and there is some wear and tear on it, though. It does mark and dent somewhat, but you should expect that with wood. However, considering how much use and abuse this table gets, it is holding up really, really well.
It is strong, sturdy, and very easy to set up. It looks twice as expensive as it really is.
Excellent product for the money.

It was very well-packed for shipping and no damages were found during the transit. There was a missing hardware, so I had to wait for another week until I could assemble, but customer service was very helpful and prompt.
Only thing I would like to point out is that the item description is not correct. It looks as if there are 4 drawers just as written in the description, but there are actually 2 big drawers.
Regardless, I am satisfied with this table - assembly was really easy, the color is very nice espresso which matches with my other furnitures and the size is perfect for my room!

I would prefer a squared coffee table rather than an oval one since the end tables are square, and I think it would make the table look larger. The appearance of the tables is very good. The tops of the tables are a high gloss while the legs are not, but they look fine together. The cherry finish is more on the red side and didn't exactly match my other cherry furniture which is darker. The tables are made in China, but I was impressed with the quality. The packaging was sturdy (a box in a box lined with Styrofoam). There were no cracks, chips, splits, etc. All of the hardware was included, and all of the holes lined up perfectly. All you have to do is bolt the legs onto the tables, and you're done. These would be perfect for a small apartment. For $50.00, they are well worth it, and I would recommend them.

(More customer reviews)Overall, this is a decent coffee table for a good price. I'm happy with the small size (exactly what I needed for the space I had), solid construction and simple assembly. I am disappointed, however, in the color of the finish. I ordered the matching end table, which was a nice dark espresso that matches my other espresso finish furniture. The coffee table, however, is solid black. Both items arrived the same day, and side by side, they don't go together at all- the color is so different. The underside of the coffee table matches the side table, it looks like someone was a little overzealous with how many coats of finish to put on and over-darkened it.
All in all, a good table for the price, but definitely in need of a little better quality control in the color department. If I had purchased this in a store, I would bring it back and have them open the boxes to find one that matches the end table. Too much effort to ship it back and take the luck of the draw on whether the next finish will be better or worse.

It sounded so comfortable and looked so nice, that we ordered the brown one. We also liked that it is a bit longer than most coffee tables. (We had seen something similar to this in a national big box store and it was much more expensive.) Delivery was prompt, the item well packaged and intact. We did have to put the legs on (easily done). The color is a bit darker than I expected, but it looks good with an oriental-type rug and a blue/brown/gold color scheme. The "leatherette" is soft and doesn't feel "plastic-y". This piece is sturdy, good looking and suits our needs perfectly. Understand, this is not "fine" furniture, but is very well done. It seems durable, feels good, looks good. We are very pleased!

They are very solid, well constructed tables. They come with steel braces and have steel inserts for the connecting bolts. I can stand on any one of these tables and they don't sag or wobble ( I weigh 175 lbs.). They do have a matte finish which we prefer, but if you like glossy furniture you will be disappointed.

(More customer reviews)Well I thought it was a good deal when I bought them in April 2007 but these are turning out to be horrible. I bought two for a mountain cabin. BOTH now have wood that's splitting, the top is separating from the edge moulding, and one literally has a split that I can fit 3 credit cards in! These are terrible! They obviously didn't kiln dry the wood used to make them, the finish is even worse with the splits because the wood is almost whitish and no amount of touchup is gonna fix a crack I can see thru. Plus, I wrote the original review based on the first one prior to opening the second. They sent the wrong legs on the second one...I had to drill out holes to jerry-rig it.
Don't waste your money.
These are junk!From original April review:
These put together very easy and fast. The finish could have been better, especially in the edges between the flat top and top edge moulding. But for the price...eh...it's a good deal. Looks good.
